2008 Dodge Charger wont start with key fob

Ok maybe someone on here can help me out I have a 2008
Dodge Charger and it won't start with the key fob. I have an
after market remote starter that will start it though but in
order to shift it out of park I have press in on a little pink
part next to my shifter. When I put the key is get lights and
radio but nothing  on the dash. I have replaced the shifter
assembly  and the starter relay. Nothing has worked does
anyone have an idea.

Well right now I'm having the same problem but there is a recall on you ignition switch if you haven't gotten it done yet but on the other hand call up dodge company to get that recall mailed in plus that's why I'm getting mine replace
