Question type: Maintenance & Repair

How do I identify the engine cylinder numbers on a
v6? I have a code that says the 4th cylinder, I need
to locate the engine coil for that cylinder.

V6 engines always have bank 1 cylinder head at the fire wall. That will be cyl1,3 and 5. Bank 2 cylinder is in the front or say radiator side of engine. So 2,4 and 6 cylinders. Number 4 cylinder is the of bank 2 cylinder. Or say center coil/cyl on radiator side of engine. Very easy to get tpo.
