Small noise starts on

while driving my 2008 prius Avery minute i start to hear a small thin noise for
about 6 seconds in then its quiet in then a minute later its starts over for 6-7
seconds pleas help me iam getting very nerves on it Thanks

I can't hear the noise but if you can describe it I can take a stab at it.

its like a thin noise like a small engine runs for about 5-7 seconds ! Thanks for helping me
