2008 Lincoln MKX Allwheel Drive Fuel Pump and Filter location

I have been told that while the fuel pump on a front wheel drive is under the
back seat, the items are in the tank on all wheel drive models.  Can anyone
clarify where the pump and filter are?

The fuel pumps on all modern fuel injected vehicles is in the tank.
