2008 Suburban oil pressure

Gradually over the last month my oil pressure has been
dropping. Now at cold idle and running speed it's starting at
20lbs. As it warms the pressure drops until the shut off
engine light comes on. Turn off the engine wait a few min
and start the process over again. Sensor? Pump? Pickup
tube? To light of oil?

Change the oil filter, use the oil recommended on the oil filler cap.

Mike is correct and if that doesn't work, do a direct oil pressure test with a gauge and replace the oil pressure sensor (sender) accordingly. And if it has kazillion miles, it might be wearing out and you can go to the next high viscosity like going from 5w/30 to 10w40.
Check the screen under the oil pressure sender. It might be getting clogged up. Also use a mechanical pressure gauge to actually check the oil pressure with the engine hot.
Changed the oil and filter. Pressure is back to normal. Bought the car two months ago. Put maybe 1000 miles on it. Guess you should never trust a used car dealer when they say they changed the oil.
