I have an 08 tahoe that I would like to
know whats causing the oil pressure to be
low. When the truck is parked and not
running the oil pressure gauge stays at 20.
I drive it for about 15 minutes and the
gause drops to halfway of 20. When
accelerated it raises to about half way. But
when idling it drops again.
I literally fixed this problem on my Tahoe 09 Tahoe yesterday, I first thought it was the Oil Pressure Sensor but after reading a couple different forums it seems everyone has a different solution, you can start by getting a fresh oil change and engine flush, second thing would be the Oil Pressure Sensor the part is available on amazon ACDelco 213-4411 GM Original, there is a video on YouTube where they walk you step by step on how to change it out its fairly simple and takes about 30 minutes.

Yesterday oil pressure went to 80. My husband changed the oil now pressure is at zero. Could this be the sending unit?
