Pax tire repair

Asked by JFKMD Sep 17, 2010 at 02:39 AM about the 2008 Acura RL SH-AWD with CMBS and PAX Tires

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Pax tire had a nail.  Dealer pluged it.  Repair lasted for a while and now the tire leaks.  Pax dealer will not patch it and wants me to buy a new tire.  Any suggestions?  Can I re-plug the leak?  Will Slime work on PAX?

maybe a patch plug if that wasnt done, NEVER use slime, itll destroy ur TPMS sensor on that wheel. recommend replacing tire even tho its like $200 or more

The PAX dealer refused to patch it. The leak is a slow one. They could not tell where the leak is. They want almost $600 to replace it.
