Radio on no sound

Got home yesterday and the stereo was working fine. Was home for a few
hours then left to go to the gym and stereo turns on but no sound? It gave no
indication of trouble ahead of time.

I don't know why but disconnecting the battery for the audio back. I checked the fuses they were fine. Then I disconnected the battery and when I started the car again, the sound was playing. I don't know the cause or if it'll come back. But at least it's working now.
