My DIC in the Cluster will not turn on. How do I get it to illuminate? Fuses are OK I think!

Just acquired this 2008 Lacrosse from a relative. It has uplevel buttons in the
center console dash but the DIC in the instrument cluster will not display
ANYTHING. It is dark all the time.  What to do?

You will probably need to pull the instrument cluster....sometimes just unplugging and replugging will get them working again. If that fails, you could try a used one from your local salvage yard. Another option...BBA Reman (email www.bba-reman.com) they repair electronics
