Do I put my foot on gas to start 2005 buick lacrosse fuel injected car or just turn the key

Trying to make sure I'm starting car correctly. Just purchased it used

Just turn the key because your car is fuel injected. Old cars with a carburetor needed to have the choke set by stepping on the gas pedal.
