fuel line routing

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

i have a 93 mustang with a 302. i installed a fuel injection system on it because it was carburated. the fuel lines coming off the fuel rails go out towards the passenger side front of the engine. the lines take a ben downward toward the header. does this seam right? its all factory bends but i just think running so close to the header is an issue. Any one have any ideas?

There will be a "feed" line and a "return" line for the fuel injection system. The fuel injection system did not come off a car with "headers", it had cast exhaust manifolds so the re-configuration for clearances (0.5 to 1.0 inch minimum) will be "modified by you" to correct any issues that arise. Did you install a 5/16 or 3/8 inch return line to the tank yet ? I have built a few cars over the years and setting up fuel injection is VERY time consuming but worth it. Check out my builds in my garage under the Ford Ranger picture.
