why my 2004 bmw x3ia will not crank

my 2004 bmw x3 truck will not turn over after i change strat  i can jump it an it
will crank but it will not crank by turn the key  every thing work by use the keys
but will not turn over what you thing the ploble

Maybe the battery is weak or the battery connections are loose or corroded.

BMW x3 2004 I replaced the key is working the key. But not crank or start , why?
