Why does my air stay on in car and can't be turned
off.

Nissans/Infinitis are known for the heater control actuator door switch going bad. Did you at one time hear a plastic grinding sound behind your dash as you dialed temperature?

do you mean why does your ac stay on if so it is beause jt js meant to act as a dehumidifier when you are in any of the defrost modes if just on floor or vent modes you should be able to shut it off
