Changing the water pump: which thermostat? Do I need to change fan clutch?

I have a 2002 Tahoe with 170k miles on it and the water pump is starting to
leak. I am confused about the parts to buy since there are several pumps,
thermostats and thermostat housings. Here is the VIN if you want to look
up the details: 1GNEC13Z82J156501
Can you recommend the correct combination of these or tell me how to
figure it out - or can any of them work interchangeably?

Also, there is a note on O'reilly's website saying to change the fan clutch
when doing the water pump, but no one else is mentioning it. Should I be
doing the fan clutch too?

I asked the local parts/repair shop and the guy there said he ran his Tahoe for 6 years with an occasional drip leak & that I'd know when it was really time. He agreed that the clutch was not a standard replacement. Hoses he recommended to replace if soft. Thanks, for the quick response.
