That's a new one .... I have yet to see the Check engine light (CEL) come on with no code. Make sure the OB2 is seeing the proper car ... never seen that either but I have heard of it happening

now its giving me this 2 codes p0501 and p0056 what are this codes for??

you might have a air bag or abs code and you need the right code reader some code readers wont read abs and air bag codes

So what do you do if it’s the airbags that’s causing the check engine light to come on? Is there a way you can get that off ?
