start mode makes no sound at all

started engine to let warm up for 10 minutes and put it in reverse and it died. when I tried to restart, starter made no sound at all. so I jumped across the starter solenoid and it cranked over good but would not start. after running some test I suspect the ECM has failed because my scanner is not showing anything and I use it all the time

did you make sure your getting good fuel and check the fuses really carefully i had a car that it wouldnt start good fuel checked alot of things went back to the fuses with a magnifier and found the problem blown fuse but it was so fine and didnt even turn black hope this helps

definitely check the relays before you go replacing the computer. the ecm port can be powered by a fuse too, it is usually the cigarette lighter fuse.
