I have a 2004 Ford Explorer when I go to start it sometimes
it starts clicking like the battery is dead the battery
amperage is low then after a couple of tries it begins to
turn over slowly and then finally starts. I've had the battery
and the alternator check and they said it was good but
when it is started the battery is fully charged

Sounds like a bad battery. Was the battery load tested or just a voltage check?

It was charged up when he tested it it was just a test that they do a O'Reilly's

Sounds like a bad battery cable connection or a bad starter. Try this, switch on your headlights then try to start it. Do the headlights dim and flicker badly? Or do they stay nice and bright? If they dim and flicker badly it's a bad battery cable connection. Check the connections at both ends. Make sure everything is clean and tight. If the headlights stay nice and bright it's the starter. Hope that helps! Jim
