I'm going to look at this car tomorrow, is there any specific areas I should look at?

Check the floors and frame rails for major rust (depending where the car is from). Drivetrain and rust are usually the most expensive to fix, cosmetic stuff isn't too bad and can usually wait. If you can drive the car while it's being fixed, it becomes a lot more fun and it gives you time to save some cash to get the work done.
