depends on the bolt pattern and what type of transmission it is, some manual transmissions would fit compared to automatic transmissions tha work on a different system then the manual transmissions do. Also you would need to know what type of transmission, there are several types of manual and automatic transmissions. Like in my '80 Ford F150 i was able to hook up a '84 Ford LTD car transmission to it. Hope this helps
