car not staying on

So i have a 95 acura integra wen i start tha i have
hold it revd up at 3k to stay on i let go tha gas it
shuts off why is that anybdy?????????

May be the intake gasket,not head gasket unless you are running low on coolant or oil in radiator,all so may need to check around intake manifold for vacume leaks.
