Maximum tire size

Can anyone tell me the largest tire that will fit on a stock 2007 Sport Trac?  Thanks!

best advice I can give you is to go to a tire-wheel dealer,they can tell you what you can safely run on it.

I've safely changed up to 255 65 R17 on my '07 Sport Trac and it looks AWESOME.

well that didn't help. I bought the last of the standard tires 2 years ago on my sport trac. Had to get four from different locations cause that tire size was discontinued by...well everyone. I'd have to go down a size and it looks stupid. Got about another year to go on mine but I'm going to have to figure out something soon and I don't want to risk tires that rub off the paint on the wheel wells, forget that.

I have a 2007 ford explorer and I want to put a set of 20" rims.what size tire should I go with without leaving to much open space between few n Ser wells.and not lower.
