Hello Michael-The answer to your problem is most likely the Brake Switch. It is a control module that illuminates the brake lights when a certain amount of pressure is applied to the brake pedal. In some vehicles this also controls the turn indicators (blinkers). Brake switches are fairly inexpensive however they can be difficult to install depending on where the manufacturer placed them. I would recommend pulling one out of a Junkyard, and by doing so, you will learn how to replace it on your 07 Van. I hope this helps!

I have the exact same issue. I took the brake switch out and the left turn signal still works without the switch in the car. Does that make sense and could it still be the brake switch?
