87 Pontiac Fiero starts for a second then die's

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Drained old fuel, bleed pleium, pump engages, changed cap and rotor, cleaned
plugs still same will stay running on carb cleaner. Any ideas? It,s a manual
trans?

Thanks Mark, I thought that was the case, not easily accessible, I was given an almost completed Lamborghini kit car with the Fiero as a donor, hoping I dont have to drop the tank,it sat for 10 years so I'll work the top end first. Thanks for the quick reply. Here's the v6 beast
