fuel pump

Bought the car wouldn't start wasn't getting fuel  
bought fuel pump put it in still not getting fire to it
what would make it not get fire

Is the engine turning over? Not sure what you have done here, but check your wires and test spark from coil to distributor ( arc to engine body).. if it is good, spark module is bad possibly. did you replace dist. cap and rotor? Open that puppy up and check it out. things to check: spark at coil wire; condition of dist cap and rotor; reseat dist. module inside cap (part that wires plug into). Check those out and see what you see.
