jetting a weber IDF

my GM 2.8L v6 has a 300 CFM rating and the Weber IDF carburetor I selected has a max CFM of 292 I would assume I just put the biggest jets in the carburetor for a correction.

8 less CFM will not be noticed. Incorrect jetting will reduce power and economy.
