85 Fiero GT No Power

Asked by Chris Jan 30, 2022 at 03:34 PM about the 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I drove the car into the garage. Everything was working fine. I disconnected
the battery so that I wouldn't short anything looking into a headlight actuator
problem. Decided instead to mess with pulling the door apart to replace a
mirror. Hooked the battery back up so I can put the window down. 0 power,
nothing. The battery has 13.8 volts across it, and the fuses are good. How
does the car just decide to not have any power?

I would go back over your work and see if all is OK. You may have caused a bad connection or pinched a power wire.
