I don't know where it is on an Acura but every modern car has a sensor that tells the ECU the engine is cold, to give it a rich mix for cold start. Some cars simply the coolant temp. Others a head temp sensor. Keeps it in open loop until warmed up. No check Engine light on?

HATE TO SAY IT. CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER AND RUN 2 CANS OF FUEL SYSTEM CLEANER THRU IT.A FEW EXTA LBS. OF FUEL PRESSURE MIGHT JUST FIX IT UP...
