2007 Saab 93 2.0 t convertible left turn signal and left low beam failure.

Asked by Gussaab Sep 21, 2020 at 10:59 PM about the 2007 Saab 9-3 2.0T Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had both side low beams replaced. Three days later the Sid showed left
low beam and left turn signal failure.  Restarted the car and the Sid show
"check ok".  Got out of the car and checked the low beam and it was on and
the left turn signal worked.  This has been an intermittent issue.  The "check
ok" can show for two to three days and then failure.  About three years ago I
had both head light wiring harnesses change out and every thing worked fine
for about a year.  Any ideas as why this issue keeps coming up.

Sounds like you may have an intermittent grounding issue. I would first check the plugs on both ends of the headlight wiring harnesses to make sure the connectors are dry & clean inside.
