Ran out of fuel, reset button ?

Asked by GuruNW2VT Oct 18, 2019 at 12:00 AM about the 2006 Hummer H2 Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2006 H2 Hummer. It rand out
of gas and turned off. Then i poured
in 10 gallons of gasoline. I tried to
turn it on and it cranks normal but no
start. It feel like it is not picking up the
fuel. Could not find a Inertia switch so
i disconnected the battery over night.
Next morning, it started right up but
as soon as i accelerate, it turns off
again. Then it wont start till minutes
later as normal but keeps turning off
every time i try to drive. I notice that it
wont start immediately after shutting
down but will about 20 minutes later.
Like normal. Can someone please
give me some tips ?
