I came from work and later had to use the vehicle, but it would not turn over.

the lights came on but the engine would not turn over. no sound at all.

More than likely the starter has gone bad,but check the battery to be good first,and its connections.

My Mercedes did the same thing, all lights came on but the battery could not energize the starter system. The battery was 7 years old and had finally went bad. The battery is cheaper and easier to check and replace. Good Luck

Check and make sure all the wires on ur starter have a good connection
