99 c5, take out cat converter or hollow it out.... helpful or harmful?????

cel?????? passing inspection not the issue..... less constricter air flow for a bit more horse power... or ......fuck up the factory back pressure that many engineers spent alot of time perfecting.

There are a lot of after market cats on the market that offer low restriction, keeps you car computers happy, smog check people happy, and the engine runs a bit better and gas mileage goes up unless you now have more power and so stomp on it more.
