Is it worth to fix my head gasket on my 2005 Subaru Outback, L.L. Bean Edition, 3.0L 6-cylinder at 146K+ miles?

My car, Birtha, she's a beauty.  Best car I have ever had.  
She recently was overheating and the head gasket is leaking on both sides.  She has 146K+ miles on her and is still in good (would be great without the small dent that I still need to fix) condition.  Do I save her?  We recently did some other car repairs, but wrote it off as that she IS a 2005 and would most likely need to have some repairs. I want to save her.  She is worth by KBB at a trade-in-value as $3000.  Would like to have input.

motherhawk74-. I agree with Jim.....if you love your car and it's in beautiful condition, it's always LESS expensive to fix your car... NO car payments can save you a lot of money...lower insurance and registration fees too.

motherhawk74-. GREAT, I think you made a wise "financial decision". I had a 1995 Honda Accord for almost 20 years and sure I had repairs and maintenance and occasionally had to call the AAA, BUT, I drove that car for almost 15 years after I made the last car payment and sold it for $3,000.... When I purchased it brand new in 1996, it was a holdover model from the year before and sold to us as a brand new car , never registered, and we put $4,000 down.. So, after all that time and payments, and almost 150,000 miles, that car owed me NOTHING! Drive it to at least 200,000 miles, you'll be way ahead..
