2003 outback L.L. Bean edition--Driver's side window is tilted forward, doesn't close properly . Easy fix?

A couple of days ago the front edge of my driver's side window tipped forward, so that the window doesn't close properly I suspect it isn't supported on the front lower edge, but wonder if this is a problem with an easy fix, or whether this is an uncommon problem and a pain to resolve.

Besides the regulator, it might also be off the track. As long as you have the door disassembled , you're probably wise to replace the regulator and any other internal part assembly that looks worn. Labor is the most expensive part of this and you don't want to have this fail in winter when it starts raining. Summer is the best time to get this repaired.

Sure, you're welcome! I would take the car to your trusted mechanic unless you know what to do. Should not cost much more than $300.
