How do I unlock the automatic shift lever on my 1999 ,SAAB 9.5, with a dead battery?

Shifter is stuck in park. No power. Battery is
dead.

On the left hand side of the gear leveler is little slit that will be for you to incert a key into push the key in hold it and you should with your free hand push the shifter out of park
