I have a 2005 9-5 Arc 2.3T. CEL is on after cleaning the injection system and throttle body. Car was running a little rough. At 62k mile, changd the DI Mod. and the plugs. Now at 74K miles.

I cleaned the injection system with 3M injection system cleaning kit.
The car did not run any different.  Now the CEL is on.
I took it to Pep Boys for a code reading.
Codes are  P0300 Generic Ingnition misfire and P1300  Saab specific code.
Can you tell me what P1300 is?

p1300 is random misfire detected-catalyst damaging

Might you have watery gas? Does it run worse when low on gas? If so fill tank and run a stiff mix of isopropyl alcohol. Red heat.

I have a 2001 saab 95 sedan and when I open the trunk by either the inside door panel button or key fab, the trunk indicator on the dash does not show. Also the trunk light does not come on. i just purchased a 2001 saab 9-5 turbo sedan. I plan to take it to an import repair shop this week to ask to have it checked out to see what if any issues it may have. My fear is having to pay for testing on my car that may not be necessary.
