my 99, 9-3, whatever gear im in if i speed up to quickly, the engine will rev real high like im not in gear at all

just started having the problem, whatever gear im in, or how fast im going, if i
push on the gas to much to speed up the engine will rev like im not even in
gear?? could i be low on tranny or rearend oil, please help, im stumped!!!

Well best check the trany fluid yes. You do it while it is running. It is an automatic yes?

Your clutch is starting to slip. Will need a new clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and the flywheel resurfaced to do a good job.

Does the saab 9-3 1.9Tid come with a pilot bearing. I did a replacement change pressure plate clutch flywheel the whole works and now I am getting a noise in my gearbox when i press the clutch in the noise goes away
