1990 Chevy beretta Indy stalls while driving and won't start until cooled off

The car runs strong but will just die after
short amount of drive time and will not start
back up until its cooled off

I changed out my steel gas lines for rubber ones from the fuel pump under the hood, caused it to vapor lock when it got hot!
