I have a 700r4. Transmission fluid is at a good level and it is pink. My question is I can shift into 1st and second but not third but if I keep pushing it I can manually shift into overdrive.
Could it be a clogged filter or do I need a
new tranny?

i have a 94 camaro 3.4 v6 the motor is basically shot after have 200k miles on it but i came across some body that has a carberated 305 i was wonderin if i could switch out my 3.4 v6 for the 305 and keep the transmission the same since i just got a new1 and if i can wat snags would i come across 2 Answers

I have a 1989 Camaro RS V6. On my way home from work yesterday I noticed that all my guages are floating the speedometer was bouncing around between 60 and 70 sporadically. The temperature gauge, oil gauge, rpm and gas gauge were all floating around when I slow down they all start coming back down? For just a second I smelt a very strong burning smell (electrical) that very quickly faded. The SES light has been on constant the whole time this is happening. Same thing was happening on the way to work this morning car is running and driving just fine. I guess today when I get home I can check the codes to see what codes I get as a starting point and work my way from there. I will also check the ground wires to see if maybe I am not getting good connection somewhere. Could it be my battery by chance? Maybe even a stripped wire somewhere?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 4 Answers

My 1987 Chevy Camaro 2.8L V6 randomly lost all power while driving at about 55 MPH about 2 weeks ago. Manifolds were fiery hot. I have replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, mass air flow sensor, and other small things to help it run better. Still nothing. I have a little more power, but it is still weak.
