Engine swap

My 93 C1500 4.3 V6 engine blew out. Can I put in a
newer model 4.3 V6 vortec engine?. But I also have
an 01 5.3 Silverado. Will it be too much to do the
5.3 swap?

I tried that on mine had nothin but problems-rearend falure-not enoughngh brakes-just plain a bad swap
