It should be a direct bolt in. Both trucks are fourth generation (1988-2000).

It should fit for sure. Because any parts between 1988-1998 will be a dieect fit . Trust me.

So long as they are the same body style truck. Some of the older square body style carried over into 88 such as the blazer and suburban. But if you are dealing with the same body style truck then there is no difference and it will bolt right in.
