I have a 1994 K1500 with the 5.7 tbi. When I bought it 6 months ago all was well but after driving it for a few months I’m starting to have problems! The previous owner put a new GM crate engine in April of this year. And it had a year old transmission. The back of the transmission broke due to ujoints and a crossmember being loose and I have replaced it So my problem is that at 18 to 30 miles an hour I have a bog that brings my engine idle down and diesels until it picks up speed and continues on! Once I’m on the highway it has very little pick up and will not down shift out of over drive! To pass! The things I have checked are as follows TPS I bought a new one and also checked with a voltage meter New fuel filter Cap rotor wires plugs coil Maf sensor New cat New O2 sensor I have checked the fuel pressure and it’s at 12 psi at idle I haven’t checked what it goes to under load
