1998 buick riviera starts but wont keep running key is hard to turn battery is charged

Reference the key, try to loosen it by spraying graphite in the ignition. The issue of the vehicle not running after starting. Will the engine idle, and upon pressing the accelerator it stops? If that's the case, first check the fuel pump pressure. (The pressure unit can be rented from most auto parts store.)
