Heat not working

Asked by #ColeWorld Nov 01, 2019 at 08:03 AM about the 2005 Buick LeSabre Custom Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 05 Buick lesabre and I
brought the car from someone
and I was told that it would need a
heater core but I looked under the
hood and the heater core hose
was cut off...  So my question is
will the heat work without the
hose being connected?

1 Answer

No sir hoses have to be intact and in place for heater to operate correctly. If hoses are cut this indicates last owner may have had heater core problems!
