Front Console Cup Holder

When my cup holder is closed anything in it
disappears in side and I cannot figure out how to
get it open. Can someone help me? It's not the
interior console section. It's the cup holders in
front of the console that are the problem.

Happens all the time. The cup holder part just pulls out if you hold one side and pull the cup holder the opposite direction. The cup holder frame also just pops out if you grab the front part and pull forward and up it should just pop out.
