2002 Buick century ac/heater control replacement

I have a 2002 Buick century and the vent fan won't blow anymore. I have
replaced the resistor, and the vent fan itself and it hasn't solved the issue. My
next step is to replace the control unit. I'm really not sure where to start to get
at it. Any advice would be helpful!!!!

I answered a similar question about a year ago, and added that answer below: It could be that you have a bad blower speed switch (on panel below radio), or a bad blower motor. Remove the speed switch from the dash (leave wiring harness on) and while the ignition key is in the "on" position, test (with a multi-meter set on DC) for 12V voltage at the blue, yellow, and tan wire connections. If no voltage is detected, then check for continuity between the brown wire in the wiring harness and each of the other wire terminal connections on the back of the switch, as the switch is run through its speed selections. If still no voltage, the switch is your culprit, otherwise switch your focus to the blower motor. If the blower motor is found to be defective, it should be replaced as a set with the blower motor resistor.

Got the same car 2001 custom heating issues, air in lines can cause over heating, but fans don't kick on until I use ac, then cools down temperature, was told too run a direct toggle switch or line from fans too ignition that way fans run consistently, next been seen alot of the control unit removed from alot of junk yards could possibly be the issue from the beginning, control unit goes out- fans don't work- related causes over heating- causes radiator too crack- air in lines etc.... Makes sense!!! Good luck people I'm with you on the issues and new insight would be appreciated!
My heater and ac only work on high setting and no lower.
