Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure and fuel injector pulse. I don't know if the old belt might have damaged something coming off? Any applicable trouble codes?

The belt may have damaged either the crank sensor or the cam sensor. Look closely at the wires.
