Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So lastnight was out in garage had radio in the van
going then after 15 mins or so I realized I should
probably start it so it doesn't drain the battery so I
started it and it fired up then after a few seconds it
died tried starting it again then the same thing well
when I tried for the 3rd time went to turn key lights
radio everything came on but it wouldnt do nothing
no click from the starter it wouldnt even roll over
but the red security light on dashboard blinks when
I put the key in and turn it to on so I cleaned the
terminals the fuse box and computer wire harness
etc.. and put dialectic grease on the connection
still the same thing what can I do? What needs to
be e replaced? Anyone with some knowledge on
these issues would be greatly appreciated

do you have a heavy keychain? Lots of keys and other stuff on it? I suspect so. The unit the keyfob goes into has trouble and fails eventually if you have a lot of wait pulling down on your keys. May need to be replaced.
