2006 pacifica

Started car up ran
few 15mn then
put in reverse
died everything
took battery out
charged in
basement nxt am
put back in
arching do you
think ground
problem removed
tray cleaned
ground wire but
gonna try bat
cables truck c if
works any help
please????

There might be a small spark at the terminal when reinstalling the battery. But a big sparks might mean you reversed the terminals. Not good. Take a good look. Larger red terminal is positive....smaller black one is the negative.

No I didn't do that.added ground wire 1 to body n 1 to motor.just the normal lol spark but day b4 post started scaring.now. ill spark. But not getting anything what to ck nxt had charger on 4 about 10mn then had to go out didnt put terminals back on after short charge n try n start or c if anything would happen .hope on right track atleast ._?? Th.

It's good to add extra grounding wires, especially on an older vehicle that might have electrical problems due to corrosion. Next, I would take the battery in for testing. Then check all fuses one at a time for any burnt out ones. There will be a fuse box under hood and under the dash.
