2007 mits. eclipse gs- anyone know about a ticking noise under the hood? it's not knocking just ticking.

Not to sound like an ass, but...they do that. Mitsus are famous for that. I've heard several reasons as to why it happens but, I'm not 100% on the real cause myself.
