Where does this loose exposed wire found by the fuse box go?

Asked by Eva Aug 17, 2023 at 01:57 PM about the 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix GT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I found an exposed loose wire by the fuse box but couldn't figure out where it
needed to go. The other end seems to come from back of the engine block
and under the car and it runs under the radiator reservoir and out by the fuse
box. I found it actually checking the coolant level in the reservoir. A few
weeks ago my check engine light throws multiple O2 senor codes with bank1
sensor one being the primary one and the O2 sensor fuses (found original
and replacement blown) kept blowing up. I wonder if the wire is related to the
O2 sensor?  Can any one tell me where it may go?

Is the O2 sensor problem taken care of ? The wire could be part of a generic harness for an option your car does not have . I've seen them before

I haven’t replaced the O2 sensor yet. I just checked out another 07 Pontiac and found that they don’t even have the wire, which puzzles me a lot. This is another shot of the misery wire where the other end leads to.
